Welcome to the Middle.

Lately, I’ve been journaling a lot. Half-finished thoughts, honest prayers, many lingering questions and even fewer answers. Mostly, I’ve been trying to understand my own mind — through reflection, prayer, quiet, and writing it all out. That’s where this blog is rooted. Somewhere between a personal archive and a shared journey - an open invite, if you will.
I’ve had this sense that God is speaking through the pull to write again — and I wanted to give those moments a home. A place to come back to. A space others might also find themselves in. Currently, I have three journals on rotation (don’t ask). This blog might become the fourth — or maybe the place that ties them all together in one. We’ll see.
What I do know is: there’s something in me that needs to create. To make meaning. To write things down so I don’t forget that this middle place — this stretch between “I’ve grown” and “I’m not there yet” — isn’t wasted, isn’t failure, isn’t delayed. It’s necessary. It’s shaping me. So here it is.
Notes from the Middle.
A space for stories, questions, reflections, prayers, and process. If you’re somewhere between “I thought I’d be further along by now” and “I still believe something good is coming,” then we’re twinning. If you’re making what looks like progress, but still wondering, “Am I actually growing?” — you’re not alone. You’re in the middle too. And that’s a sacred place to be.
This space will be fluid, it will grow and change as we do the same. It won’t be neat, it won’t be polished, it definitely won’t have all the answers but it will always be founded on God.
He is the rock of all ages.
I hope something here meets you where you are.
With love,
M
xx
